From Otavalo it was a short two hour bus ride to our second stop in Ecuador, Quito, where we would spend New Year’s Eve.

After Salento we made two more stops in Colombia, Cali and Popayán, where we spent Christmas. Afterwards we moved on to Ecuador.

We continued our trip in Colombia through Medellín, the second-largest city in Colombia, and afterwards headed to a small town in the middle of Colombia’s coffee region.

After about one month and a week in Central America we made one last quick stop in Costa Rica and were on our way to Colombia where we’ll be until after Christmas.

After we spent a month in Guatemala we headed to Nicaragua as our final stop in Central America and to also finally spend some time on the beach.
