After spending some time with Markus’ family and friends in Austria and a trip to Greece with Markus’ parents our journey has come to an end for now.

Munich was our last destination before making it to Markus’ home country, Austria, where we made a stop in Graz to visit friends.

Switzerland feels a bit like a fairytale–however, it comes with a hefty pricetag.

Belgrade and Zagreb were our last cities in the Balkans and we were sad to leave all of the delicious food behind, but looking forward to visiting friends.

While the effects of war are still very present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we also found a country filled with resilience and continued hope for the future.
